| Below is a preview of what we are planning to implement for Multiplayer. The Mutators are intentionally optional, so that players arent forced to play in a way they dont want to. We cant stress enough that we like freedom and enjoyment in games.
Game Modes Standard Deathmatch Modes - Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Elimination, Team Elimination Objective Modes – Capture the Flag, Flag Assault, Survivor Rescue Other Modes –Cure Retrieval, Killing Spree, Zombie Escape
Game Mode Explanations Deathmatch/Team Deathmatch – Self Explained Elimination/Team Elimination – Players have a set amount of lives, Player with the most lives at the end of the time limit wins. (In Team Elimination, the winner is the team with the most combined lives left.) Capture the Flag – Self Explained Flag Assault – Attacking team has to take the flag from their base to one of several random locations on the map. Defenders win by stopping them until time runs out. Survivor Rescue – Attacking team has to rescue survivors from around the map by leading them to their base. Defenders stop them by killing attackers. Cure Retrieval – Attackers have to capture and return cure samples from three different points on the map. Killing Spree – First player to reach a predefined killing spree wins. Only your highest killing spree is tracked. Zombie Escape – This mode is the only mode in the game to not feature both factions. Players spawn as Citizenship personnel with the goal of escaping a map. After thirty seconds, if no one has been killed by a zombie, one player is chosen to become a special ‘carrier zombie’. These zombies are stronger than normal and can run almost as fast as survivors. When playing this mode, the Undead and Infection mutations are always active.
Mutations and their Explanations Undead – Undead spawn on the map to provide interference. Infection – Each player has an infection meter that they must suppress by using antivirus pills found on the map. If the meter reaches 100% the player is turned into a zombie for the remainder of the round. This can only be active if the Undead mutation is active. The infection meter rises at a constant rate, zombie hits add to the rate. Bleed – When hit, players take constant damage relative to the amount of hp they are on. To stop it, the player must apply a bandage which can be found on the map. Limited Ammo – Players start with drastically lower amounts of ammo than in standard modes. They must find additional supplies from stockpiles found around the map.
